7075 T6 Aluminum gears reduce weight and rotational inertia of your gearbox. Since this 12-tooth gear is AGMA 11 quality and has the VEXpro teflon infused ceramic coating it greatly reduces the friction of your gearbox at the initial motor reduction (where drag has the most effect on the system).
