So the new battery charger can charge 1 battery at a time versus the old charger that can charge the transmitter and battery for the robot. I was hoping Vex would take the product further and be able to charge 2 batteries at the same time, not the other way around. It leaves a disadvantage for people using Vex, having to wait for batteries to charge one at a time now because of this new product. Why couldn't the old battery charger be re-engineered to allow both the new and old batteries?

Are you able to do a 240V version for UK users? as i bought a 120v before on an import and with a 240v to 120v 2 pin, but it blew up the powerpack.

Comment on China and New Zealand Teams Reign Supreme at the VEX World Championship by Nancy Mc

On behalf of the Eagle Engineering Program, Team #1138 from Chaminade College Preparatory I would like to thank all of you for taking on this Texas sized event. My team is so proud to have been a participant at all three of the VEX World Championship Events, and came back from this one all fired up for next year. When Round Up was announced they immediately began brainstorming, mind mapping and making sketches. We could hardly stop them at dinner long enough to go wash their hands. They happily plotted and schemed on the flight home and have been talking with everyone who they come across. They have set and written team down goals, identified some new schools to help start teams in California, Dallas, and Italy.

On a personal note, one of my favorite quotes comes from J C Watts who said, " Character is doing the right thing when nobody's looking. There are too many people who think that the only thing that's right is to get by, and the only thing that is wrong is to get caught." Bringing in the BEST National Championship to run concurrently with the VEX World Championship was a tremendous thing to do for all of the students, mentors, teachers, and parents involved. What an opportunity to celebrate all that is good and right within competitive robotics.

Thanks, and Stetsons off to all of you for a job well done! -Nancy Mc
