This pack contains only the Rack and Pinion Gears and Mounting Screws from the Advanced Gear Kit. This pack includes:  24 ea. Rack Gears, 6 ea. 12-tooth pinions Gears, and 48 ea. 6-32 x 1/4 in. Screws.

Worm Wheel/Gear Pack

This pack contains only the Worm Gears and Worm Wheels from the Advanced Gear Kit. This pack includes:  12 ea. Worm Gears, 12 ea. Worm Wheels.

Bevel Gear Pack

This pack contains only the Bevel Gears from the Advanced Gear Kit. This pack includes:  12 ea. Bevel Gears.

Diff Gear Pack

This pack contains only the Diff Bevel Gears and Diff Brackets from the Advanced Gear Kit. This pack includes:  9 ea. Diff Bevel Gears and 3 ea Diff Bracket.

Vex Signal Splitter

The Vex Signal Splitter is a 'No Brainer'. This control component can be used to drive up to (6) PWM devices, including Vex Continuous Rotation Motors & Vex Servos. Since this device is capable of directly taking the signal output from the Vex Receiver Module and driving motors/servos, it is now possible to build robots without the Vex Microcontroller. This module is not programmable and must be used with the Vex Transmitter and Receiver.

Vex Potentiometer

With the Potentiometer you can determine both position and direction of rotation. Use this sensor to get an analog measurement of angular position. This measurement can help to understand the position of robot arms, or other mechanisms. A Programming Kit is needed to change the program in the Vex Controller to use the Potentiometer . Includes (2) units.

Flashlight Kit

Tank Tread Upgrade Kit

This upgrade kit provides two types of add-on links designed to increase the functionality of the Vex Tank Tread Kit. The first set of add-on links includes a patch of soft rubber designed to increase the traction of the tank treads on smooth surfaces. The second set of add-on links includes a variety of fins, for use in constructing conveyor belt type mechanisms. These upgrade links should be useful to designers wishing to create more advanced mechanisms utilizing the tank tread.

Bearing Pop Rivet

These Plastic Bearing Pop Rivets make mounting the Delrin Bearing Flats onto any Vex structural component an easy task. These rivets can be reused again and again; simply push the pin out from the back side.

This pack includes 50 ea of the Bearing Pop Rivets.

Vex Large Omni Directional Wheel Kit

Increase your robot's maneuverability and minimize skidding. Smaller wheels around the circumference of the larger wheel allow it to roll laterally, as well as forward and backward. These wheels are the same size as the Medium Size "all-purpose" Vex wheels.  More Info

Advanced Gear Kit

This kit contains several new gear types designed to help you build advanced mechanical systems. The rack gear will mount on any Vex metal component, mesh with any Vex gear to create linear motion systems. The worm gears allow users to create very high reduction gearing in a small package; these gears will also resist "back driving" which may be useful in some applications. The kit comes with several bevel gears which allow designers to transfer motion "around corners"; you can change the axis of motion by 90 degrees. These bevel gears can also be used with the differential frame to build a differential. This can be utilized to create more efficient "car style" drivetrains. More Info

Worm Gearbox Bracket

This Bracket is designed with the Vex Worm Gear in mind.  Use standard Vex products (not included) to make the design/application of the Vex Worm Gear a simpler task. There are 2 Vex Worm Gear Brackets included in this kit.

Rack Gearbox Bracket

This Bracket is designed with the Vex Rack Gear in mind.  An application of this bracket and the rack and pinion gear uses the pinion gear to rotate the rack gear which will in turn slide linearly using the Vex Linear Slide Pack. This allows users to create linear motion. Use standard Vex products (not included) to make the design/application of the Vex Rack Gear a simpler task. There are 2 Vex Rack Gear Brackets included in this kit.

Bevel Gearbox Bracket

This Bracket is designed with the Vex Bevel Gear in mind.  Use standard Vex products (not included) to make the design/application of the Vex Bevel Gear a simpler task. The design/application sections shows 4 different pictures using the Bevel Gearbox Bracket. There are 2 Vex Bevel Gear Brackets included in this kit.

The easyC® Programming Kit is a combination of software and hardware components that enable you to write programs on your computer and then download them to your microcontroller. The easyC® graphical interface is great for beginners. Not Mac compatible.

The easyC® software is now version 2.  For help with installing, licensing, operation, etc., please call intelitek at 1-800-777-6268 or email them at support@intelitek.com. This software can only be installed on 1 PC.

Vex Gear Kit

This contains additional gears so you will always have the right combination available to ensure you can achieve the desired balance of torque, speed, and direction. All the parts included in this kit were also included in the Starter Kit, with the exception of the 84-tooth gear, which is just like the other gears, except with more teeth, which gives you access to even higher (or lower) gear ratios.  The 60- and 84-tooth gears have extra mounting holes. These holes can be used for attaching metal bars or parts to these gears when using them as part of a turntable system or other similar design. More Info

Vex Light Sensor Kit

The light sensor uses a photocell that allows your robot to detect and react to light. With the light sensor, you can program a whole new range of capabilities to your robot. Vex Optical Shaft Encoder

With the Quadrature Encoder's two output channels you can measure both the position and direction of rotation of a Vex shaft. This will allow you to calculate the speed of the shaft, as well as the distance it has traveled; these are very useful measurements for autonomous programming. You can measure with greater precision than IR or ultrasonic sensors. More Info

Vex Ultrasonic Range Finder
