This page includes a library of STEP files used to model complex robot assemblies in CAD before beginning actual construction.
Note: This page is NOT complete. For the most up-to-date versions of all VEX EDR CAD files, visit each product's individual product pages on vexrobotics.com.
A STEP file is a universal format, which is compatible with most 3D Solid-Modeling programs. These files should easily import into a variety of programs including Autodesk Inventor and others.
Visit the Autodesk VEX Portal for the VEX Kit of Parts modeled in Autodesk Inventor. Free Autodesk software is also available to students and educators through the Autodesk Education Community.
