Yes! We offer two types of Purchase Order processing: Standard POs via email/fax, and Quick PO’s via the website. New customers must place their first order via Standard PO. If you have placed your Standard PO and are ready for your next order, ask a customer service representative about upgrading your account to Quick PO’s. Standard POs have a processing (order entry) time of 1-4 business days. Quick POs are entered within 1 business day and include improved email confirmations and shipping notifications!

To register as tax exempt, please submit your information to taxforms@vex.com. This must be completed prior to placing an order in order for it to be considered tax exempt.

You can send a blanket Purchase Order or a Purchase Order that references a quote. (See "How do I generate a quote" below.) Send us your quote number at the time of the Purchase Order, and ensure that the Purchase Order does one of the following:

  1. a) Includes estimated shipping costs on your quote
  2. b) Adds an estimated 10% of your order as Shipping and we will bill you the correct amount
  3. c) Specifies that shipping can be added to the order above the total amount listed on the Purchase Order

Without one of these options, we cannot process the PO.

Note: PO's cannot contain a Ship To address that is a PO Box (unless a street address is also listed).

Ordering via Quick PO

Please email us to have Quick PO's added to your account. In your email, please include the following:

  1. 1.) A previously-placed Standard PO # that we can reference.
  2. 2.) The email address associated with your vexrobotics.com account. Quick PO processing requires a vexrobotics.com account; if you generated a quote for your Standard PO, then you can also provide that quote and we can look up the account for you.

Once your account has been approved for Quick POs, ordering is just as easy as placing a standard web order!

  1. 1.) Log in to your vexrobotics.com account.
  2. 2.) Add the items you wish to order to your cart.
  3. 3.) Proceed to checkout from your cart or from the links on the top right side of any page.
  4. 4.) On the Payment Information step, select “Purchase Order”. Add a Purchase Order Number and upload a PDF of your PO (required).
  5. 5.) Review your order. If everything is correct, click the Place Order button to submit your order.

Getting a quote on your order from vexrobotics.com is easy:


  1. Log in to your vexrobotics.com account or create a new one if you don't have an existing account. (Otherwise, you will not be able to save the quote for future reference)
  2. Add the items you want to order to your cart.
  3. Proceed to checkout either from your cart or from the links on the top right side of any page.
  4. Select your Billing and Ship To Addresses.
  5. Select a Shipping Method.
  6. On the Payment Information tab, select Generate Quote.
  7. Review your order. If everything is correct, click the Place Order button to submit your quote.

You will recieve an email that details your quote and provides a link back to vexrobotics.com to order your quote. You can access all of your quotes and order by logging into your account and clicking the "My Account" link at the top of all pages.

Note: You may also send us your quote number along with a blanket PO or a PO that references the quote number.

To process a return, repair, or replacement of your VEX Products, you will first need email your completed RMA Form to support@vex.com. After you receive an RMA number, please print out the completed form and mail it back to us along with the product that needs to be returned, repaired, or replaced. Please be sure to include a list of the issues associated with each item being sent back.

Note: Returns for credit are accepted for a period of three (3) months from the date of shipment, and are subject to a 10% Restocking fee. Customers are responsible for the cost of reshipping the item(s).

  • This warranty covers normal use as described in the product manual and within the limits as specified in any applicable data sheets.
  • This warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, incorrect wiring, alterations, connector damage, or robot competition damage.

Shipping Errors & Defective Products

  • Claims for shipping shortages, errors, or defective materials must be in writing and received by VEX Robotics, Inc. within ten (10) days after receipt of shipment by buyer.
  • Claims for shipping shortages, errors, or defective materials must be in writing and received by VEX Robotics, Inc. within ten (10) days after receipt of shipment by buyer.
  • Failure to make such claim within the stated period shall constitute an irrevocable acceptance of the goods and an admission that the goods fully comply with all the terms and conditions of the buyer's order.

  • The term "Out of Warranty" applies to products whose warranty period has expired or products whose failure was caused by factors other than defects in maunfacturing, materials, or workmanship.
  • Out of Warranty products may not be capable of being returned to the exact original specifications or dimensions.
  • There is a $50 repair fee, including applicable sales tax, on Out of Warranty products. VEX Robotics Inc. reserves the right to not repair any Out of Warranty products.
