Engage Your Students in STEM With Robotics

The world needs more innovators, creators, and thinkers

We provide teachers with the tools needed to address the STEM problem

Simply put, there is a growing societal need to enhance Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) learning in classrooms. This is especially prevalent at the elementary and middle school levels, where there is a call for integrated learning programs that allow teachers to engage students in creative and meaningful ways, while also meeting today's rigourous academic standards. As the ideal platform for exploring important STEM fundamentals and computer science concepts,

VEX IQ is proud to offer a free, twelve-unit, standards-matched curriculum. Additionally, our powerful partnerships with leading educational companies are empowering schools and entire educational systems to deliver 21st Century learning experiences like never before.

You have a choice when it comes to professionally developed classroom curriculum.

Below are three custom tailored VEX IQ curriculum offerings, each with unique goals and methods of implementation.

Never taught robotics?
No problem.

Our standards mapped curriculum can be adapted to fit any situation

We developed our curriculum as a completely FREE companion to the VEX IQ platform. Aimed at elementary and middle school students, the curriculum offers twelve flexible units of instruction that can be used in sequence or as standalone lessons. Project-based units instill proper engineering practices from an early age, while maintaining the fun and excitement that comes from building and coding with VEX IQ. Whatever your STEM education needs may be, the VEX IQ Curriculum is a learning tool that will excite and inspire your students.

Robomatter's Introduction to Programming VEX IQ curriculum is designed to provide concrete, contextualized lessons that seamlessly integrate grade level mathematics, programming and engineering activities for students. In the curriculum, students learn about robotics technologies and how they impact modern industries. The curriculum is designed to support both teachers brand new to the VEX IQ system as well as those with previous robotics experience. The programming sections of the curriculum use ROBOTC Graphical, the perfect language for beginners, and can be completed with real VEX IQ robots or simulated Robot Virtual Worlds robots.
